Micha Vogt lives in Germany and races American cars. About a year ago, we took a look at his twin-turbo 1955 Chevy, this time we are taking a look at his amazing 1941 Willys. This 9.30 second capable car is also a street legal machine ready to cruise the town. “We drive it sometimes just for fun on the street or in the city,” Micha told us. “Maybe to eat an ice cream or just cruise around.”

Micha bought the car in 1999 after working on the owner for eight years. That is some serious dedication. When he had found out about the Willys, which was imported into Germany after being crashed in the US, he called the owner about five times a year until he finally got tired of the phone calls and sold Micha the car. Micha got to work and restored it to the condition it’s in now. It was already a drag car, but was wrecked some time ago, so Micha repaired the body using all steel panels, replaced the fiberglass parts, and got it set up with a new drivetrain.
